This interesting and unusual short sword is Shona (or may be Zulu), early 20 C. Straight blade 17 inches long. Finely carved black wood handle. The scabbard is made black wood front, finely carved and light color hardwood back, bound with iron bands. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition.
