This large dagger / short sword is a Qama, Southern Caucas or Turkish, mid - late 19 C. The massive blade is straight, double edged, finely fullered with gold koftgari decoration. Horn grips of classical form. Original leather covered scabbard with spiral stitching with large steel mounts decorated richly with silver inlay work. Blade 18 ½ inches long 2 ¼ inches wide. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. Very Impressive.
