This Qama short sword is Georgian, late 19 C. of big dimensions: Blade 17 inches long, 2 inches wide with off centered deep fullers and gold inlay decoration. Horn grip slabs with domed steel rivets and engraved low silver rosettes leather covered scabbard with large low silver locket and chape engraved en-suite with the handle mounts. Total length 24 inches. Very Good condition. Blackened areas on the blade and losses to the gold inlay. Very impressive short sword.
