This very long dagger / short sword is most probably coming from Chad, Tebu (or Toubou) people. It is unusually long 26 inches, (compared to the 10-11 inches long of the more common ones). Blade 20 inches long 2 ¼ inches wide nicely fullered and decorated with engraved geometrical design. The handle is bound with braided leather strips. Very good condition.
