This sword is coming from Tibet, probably Eastern Tibet and believed to be an early type, may be 18 C. Single edge blade 17 inches long. Cup shaped steel cross guard. Handle covered with hide. Steel pommel with inlaid layers of copper and brass, with three prongs protruding from the pommel face. Scabbard covered with hide and with a steel chape. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition.
