As Beautiful as it can get, this Tibetan short sword, locally known as tsep-sa . Blade of typical Tibetan shaped but very short, 12 inches long, more of a knife than a sword, but beautifully laminated and folded in the pattern known a Hairpin Folding. The same pattern appears on the long and heavy Tibetan swords. The wood handle is covered with Sting Ray skin set with red Corals and green Azurite stones and brass nails. Engraved brass pommel also set with colored gem stones. The scabbard is brass frame with green dyed sting with the top part decorated in a similar style. Total length 18 inches. Very good condition. A very fine knife.
