This is a classical Jambiya dagger of the Kurdish people. Probably east Turkey, late 19- early 20C. Double edged curved blade with a central rib 9 1/2 inches long. Hardwood I shaped grip. Wood scabbard covered with finely tooled leather with brass ball tip. Total length 16 1/2 inches. Very good condition.
