This rare shashqa style saber is coming from Central Asia or Afghanistan. Blade 31 inches, deadly sharp and finely fullered. Horn grips with steel grip strap and bolsters. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. The grips rivets are possibly a later repair. The attribution to Central Asia and /or Afghanistan is derived from the shape of the handle, very similar to Karud / Pesh Kabz daggers from the same area. A rare saber.
