Ekajo Very Rare Spear from Enggano Island, Indonesia - 11947
A spear of the Engganese people from Enggano island, South West of Sumatra. Well made heavy blades 12 inches long and 5 inches wide barbed with back pointing spikes. Shortened 28 inches wood hafts. Very good condition. These spears are the national weapon of the Engganese people and are used for hunting, and fishing as well as ceremonial events. Very Rare. For a similar one see: G. C.
