Very Rare Bronze Axe Head, Egypt 1800 B.C - 11730

From Egypt, second half of the first millennium, around 1800 B.C a period also known as Middle Bronze II, comes this beautiful and rare axe head, also known as Epsilon axe . 7 X 3 1/ 2 inches with three holes used to connect it to a wooden haft with all three original bronze rivets in place. Very good excavated condition with nice age patina. This axe is coming from the collection of the late Mr. S. Dubiner, a well known collection of ancient bronzes.
