This dagger is coming from North India, early – mid 19 C with a may be earlier blade. Curved blade 7 inches long, forged from fine high contrast wootz (Damascus, watered) steel, with a pronounced central rib. Four sectors elephant ivory grips with a lobbed pommel, reminding the Tiger Teeth style daggers. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
