This Massive Dah sword is late 19 C. most probably from Kachin state in North Burma / Myanmar. The heavy blade is 23 inches long, 3/8 inches thick, finely fullered, with scalloped tip and the spine inserted with brass panels. Heavy brass handle. Original wood scabbard with brass bands and original cotton thread binding. Total length 35 inches. Very good condition. The cotton rope is lightly worn.
