Very Good Burmese (or Thai) Dah Short sword - 11686

This Dah sword is probably Burmese (or may be Thai), early – mid 20C. The blade is 24 inches, very well forged with a concave cut tip. The blade is beautifully inlaid with silver on the forte and on the spine. The two handed grip is bound with alternating bands of pierced copper brass and bronze. Wood scabbard covered with brass and copper bands. Total length 33 inches. Very good plus condition. |
