Not exactly a weapon but a very fine exemplar of Tibetan silver work. This T shaped belt is late 19 – early 20 C. It is made of heavy braided silver strands with very fine silver filigree medallions and a central round one, all set with turquoise stones. The silver strands are sewed to a silk back. A long silver chain is mounted to the T leg ending with a bird shaped silver pin. Width 20 inches, height 10 inches, chain length 66 inches. Total weight 800 Grams. Very good condition. This is possibly a women belt. It is worn with the central strap hanging down, the silver bird pinned near the shoulder and the long silver chain hanging down freely.
