This rare powder flask is late 18 – early 19 C. and most probably coming from Travencor or Mysore in South India. Chase brass decorated with images of monstrous mythological creatures. The bottom of the flask is hinged, probably to allow fast fill up. Length 7 inches. Very good condition to age. Very interesting and unusual item.
