We offer for sale a very good and unusual Kindjal dagger. It has a heavy wide and curved double edge blade, 17 inches long and more than 2 inches wide, with off centered fullers (Not to mistake it with the Qama, the single edge version). Horn grips riveted to the blade tang and mounted with gold decorated rivets heads. Also the tang edges are decorated with gold koftgari design. The scabbard is wood, covered with black leather on the front side and brown leather on the back, with a compartment for a small knife (which is now missing). The belt ring is set with gold koftgari as well. All the gold work is typical to Kubachi work (Dagastan). Very good condition. Few blackened areas on the blade but no pitting. The very tip of the scabbard is missing.
