A fine and large size Punal dagger from the Philippines. These daggers are also known in the name of ‘Belt Kris’ and come in various sizes, from few inches to 15” long. This one is a well forged 10 blade . The hilt is Ivory with gilded copper filigree collar. Gilded steel cross guard. The scabbard is silvered copper with finely engraved and pierced locket and chape. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition.
