This spear head is most probably from North Africa, May be Algeria, late 19 C. The blade of diamond cross section is 20 inches long, forged in one piece with the 4 ½ inches socket. The lower part of the blade as well as the socket are finely inlaid with brass in a chevron pattern. Very good condition. Very unusual spear head.
