This dagger is made in Toledo by ARTILERIA FABRICA DE TOLEDO AND DATED TO 1898. It is made in the style of a Moroccan Koumaya dagger (Which by itself is influenced by earlier Spanish daggers). Whole steel heavy and massive item. Blade 12 inches finely chiseled and signed with the manufacturer mark and a monogram NH. Chiseled steel handle and scabbard decorated with red enameled spots. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Very impressive item.
