19 C. Ammunition Belt from Central Asia - 11418


A 19 c. ammunition belt complete with two pouches for bullets and for fire lighter (?) , two steel hooks to hang the daggers and the sword and a full set of eight Gazri powder charge holders, all in very good condition. The belt and the pouches are made of leather and decorated with steel fittings. The Gazri powder charge holders are made of wood two of them still has its plug made of coiled fabric. Such belts were common in quite a wide area from Turkmenistan and as far as Afghanistan. Very good condition. An unusual find.
