I am not sure what we have here. It just arrived in a lot of oriental pieces. I guess it is a knife of fisherman or a sailor on a whaling ship. It has a short 4 inches heavy blade with a clipped tip. The handle as well as the scabbard are black horn set with mother of pearl and decorated with brass whales, boat and whaling harpoons (??) . Good condition. Some pitted spots on the blade.
