Up for sale is this 19 C. fine Ottoman / Balkan big size Jambiya dagger, with 11 1/2 inches blade forged from Sham (Low contrast wootz) steel. Long handle cut entirely from a single piece of walrus ivory. Wood scabbard covered with silver with fine filigree work. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Very impressive item.
