This impressive pole arm is of Chinese origin, probably late 19 C. and of very unusual length and shapes. The massive, lunette shaped blade is more than 10 inches wide and 5 inches tall, forged in one piece with the upper prt of the pole, 39 inches long. Total length with the wood haft is 90 inches. Very good condition. The haft may be later to the steel part. Certainly a very unusual piece of great interest for the collector of Chinese blades.
