This is a classical Jambiya dagger of the Kurdish people. Probably east Turkey, late 19C. Double edged curved blade with a central rib 8 1/2 inches long. I shaped grip from black hardwood reinforced with a steel collar. Wood scabbard covered with finely tooled leather. Total length 15 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Very minor edge nicks. Very low price
