There are various opinions regarding this knife: A battle knife?? A working tool to split the rattan? A ceremonial ?? We are not quite sure but the quality of the blade and the workmanship are high, most probably from Thailand. Massive, heavy blade 8 inches long, 11 mm wide forged from laminated blade with hardened edge. Long horn handle with steel collar and finely chased silver pommel cover. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition with a short age crack on the horn handle.
