This very fine scepter is most probably Thai, late 19 C. or about. It includes a concealed blade very well forged, triangular hollow ground cross section, 8 inches long. The handle is brass set with many colored gem stones. The blade cover is steel covered with finely engraved silver. Total length 20 ½ inches. Very good condition. Quite few gems are missing. The silver cover might be later to the blade and handle.
