Turkish as well as the Greek used < B>Suma Ramrod for pistols, carried on the belt (sash). This good example is an early one, probably 18 C. and may be earlier. Bronze octagonal rod cast in one piece with the handle. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition with good untouched age patina.
