Up for sale this fine and long sickle shaped sword of the Azande from central Zaire (also used by the neighboring tribes, Boa and others). Early to mid 20 C. 21 ½ inches blade sharpened on the concave side, flat diamond cross section on one face and nicely engraved with geometrical design on the other face. and with a 7 inches double edge tip. Wood handle. Total length 31 ½ inches. Very good plus condition. Hard to find African authentic weapons of this fine quality and condition.
