Up for sale is this unusual Pedang Lurus - The short sword from Java, Indonesia. The short, down curving blade is 20 ½ inches long. It is single edged with a long double edge tip and forged from pamor steel. The handle as well as the scabbard are shaped in the style of a European hanger: wood grip with brass guard, leather covered scabbard and big shell shaped brass locket. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. The pommel cap is a later replacement. The leather scabbrd is lightly cracked.
