Very Good Triple Blade Haladie Dagger, India - 10715
Haladie, A rare Rajput weapon and another curiosity from the Indian arsenal: Usually, a dagger with two opposite blades on a central handle, but here is a rare triple blade form. The side serrated and re-curving blades are 9 ½ inches each, well made, with a central rib. The third perpendicular straight blade, also with serrated edges is 4 ½ inches long. The handle is steel with bone grips. All blades with wood scabbard covered with blue velvet and mounted with pierced silver tips (recent). Total length 26 ½ inchs. Very good plus condition. A rare dagger. |
