A typical knife from Bosnia & Herzegovina, from the very short period of independence before the annexation to the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the end of the 19th C. The blade is straight, single edge, 7 1/2 inches long. The grips are bone with flared pommel, set with brass nails and inserts in a typical Balkan style of decoration. The scabbard is wood covered with thin chased brass. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. Very Low Price.
