This Indian Bazu-Band (Arm Guard) is from the early 19C. or earlier, rather large dimensions, 16 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide, whole steel, finely pierced and decorated with gold koftgari work. This arm guard comes with the two small steel plates and buckles used to buckle it over the arm and the original inner fabric cushion (usually these pieces are lost). Very good condition to age. Inner fabric lightly worn.
