This is a short Chinese straight sword Jian from the late 19 or early 20 C. The straight blade of flat diamond cross section is 18 ¼ inches long. Ribbed wood grip, beautifully engraved brass fitting on black painted wood scabbard. Good condition. Very Attractive Price.
