A very good Arab Khnjar / Jambiya dagger, early 20 C., from Oman. It has a 7 inches curved and dual edge well forged blade with a pronounced central rib. The grip as well as the scabbard mounts are heavy silver with elaborate filigree work. The scabbard is “L” shaped mounted with chased filigree silver locket en suite with the hilt mounts. The belt attachment is made of complicate arrangements of 7 silver rings and twisted silver wire. Total length is 13 inches. Very good condition.
