This Qama short sword is mid 19 C, Georgian with strong Persian Influence. The blade is massive, 17 inches long 2 inches wide with off centered fullers and decorated with gold koftgari decoration. The massive grips are walrus with steel rosettes with traces of gold decoration. Original scabbard covered with leather, with silver mounts and steel belt hanging ring. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition. Age cracks on the grips but it holds very solid. Losses to the scabbard leather.
