Kampilan - the sword of the Sea Dayaks of Borneo and Moros of the Southern Philippines. Straight, heavy 29 inches long blade, widening toward its tip with silver inserts at the tip spine. Large wood handle beautifully carved with a forked pommel. The grip is bound with braided rattan bands with a very good age patina and set with old silver coins. Total length 40 inches. Very Good condition . This Kampilan comes with its original wood scabbard, unfortunately badly damaged (not shown).
