This 19C. percussion pistol is of European style, but the gold inlay decoration on the barrel may suggest Indian provenance and use. Heavy octagonal barrel 8 inches long finely decorated with gold inlay work (true inlay). Folding trigger. Finely engraved, rear barrel plates and hammer. Wood butt with mother of pearl inserts. Total length 13 ½ inches. Very good condition. Lock in good working order.
