“Partisan” Style Spear Head - European (?) - 10525
This spear head in the style of a Partisan the well known pole arm, is most probably German or Italian, 17 or early 18 C. The heavy fullered blade with side extensions is 7 ½ inches long with a 5 inches socket, both heavily inlaid with engraved brass decoration. Very good condition to age. Good age patina. Blunt tip and lightly nicked edges. Losses to the brass inlay. Lightly damaged socket end. |
