This is a rare African sword of the Kuba tribe residing in Central Zaire. Up to the end of the 19 C. It was used as a battle sword, but later on as a dancing implement and a weapon of prestige carried by high ranking people. 15 inches long, 6 inches wide, ribed blade. Wood. Very Good condition. Age crack on the hsndle.
