This dagger is a Bichwa, a rare blade in the Indian arsenal, meaning: ‘The Scorpion Sting’. It is old, late 17 or early 18 Century. The blade is double edged, re-curving, 7 ½ inches long. The hilt is whole steel ring shaped, and riveted to the top of the blade. Total length 11 ½ inches. Very good condition. Traces of the original cushion for the hand inside the hilt loop. , |
