The Badek (or Badik) is a dagger / Knife from Java, Indonesia. It is characterized by its single edge blade with straight back and up-curving edge, and the pistol grip shape handle. This one has a 12 inch blade forged from very good pamor steel. Fine quality grained wood handle. Finely chased silver covered wood scabbard. Total length (in scabbard) 17 inches. Very good condition. Few blackened spots on the blade. Age crack in the handle but it hold solid. All part original, authentic without replacements or restoration.
