We offer for sale this knife, probably a general purpose item of the Bagobo tribe , Mindanao, Philippines. Somewhat crudely forged, 8 inches up- curving blade, widest at the tip. Handle is forged in one piece with the blade and bound with brass wires to provide a better grip. Three small brass bells are attached to the pommel with short brass chains. The blade is incised with simple semicircles design. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition.
