This curved dagger is Indonesian, probably Sumatra late 19 C. The blade is 8 inches, well made high carbon steel. The handle and scabbard are silver, finely engraved. Total length 11 ½ inches. Very good condition. This dagger reminds in a way the famous Arab curved dagger Jambiya and possibly evolved under influence of Arab traders in Indonesia.
