This dagger is probably Greek, crudely made in the style of the curved blade jambiya of the Islamic world. The blade is 9 ½ inches long etched on both sides with Greek(?) inscriptions and the date 1893. Pewter handle. Scabbard covered with flowers decorated fabric and mounted with brass mounts. Good condition.
