Very Fine Tibetan Belt - 10201

Although not really a weapon, belts are used by each man and woman in Tibet to carry a utility knife / Dagger, powder flasks, flint pockets and other accessories. This belt is of top quality workmanship and probably belonged to a high ranking person. It is composed of long red painted leather belt mounted with 5 steel links richly decorated with silver inlay and traces of gold inlay in a classical Tibetan style. Two steel hanging rings and a steel buckle. Total length 44 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the silver / gold inlay. |
