A typical fine dagger from Bosnia & Herzegovina, from the very short period of independence before the annexation to the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the end of the 19th C. The blade is straight, double edged, 8 inches long decorated with silver koftgari inlay decoration and inscription SARAJEVO 1893. The grips are bone set with brass nails. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
