We offer for sale this set of two short Chinese straight swords Jian late 19 C, housed in one scabbard. Both blades are of flat diamond cross section, 16 ½ inches long. Ribbed horn grip with brass cross guard and pommel. The scabbard is covered with brown-yellow tortoise shell. Beautifully cast grass mounts on the scabbard. Total length 25 inches. Very good plus condition.
