This is a short Chinese straight sword Jian from the early 20 C. The straight blade of flat diamond cross section is 16 inches long. Ribbed wood grip, beautifully engraved brass fitting and brown-yellow tortoise shell scabbard cover. Total length 21 1/2 inches. Very good plus condition. Very Attractive Price.
