Up for sale is this fine Dah sword, early to mid 19 C. Thailand or Laos. Blade 20 inches. Handle beautifully carved from elephant ivory showing what might be monkey (??) faces all around. Silver pommel and collar. Wood scabbard covered with green velvet (later) and mounted with chased silver bands. Total length 32 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Good age patina on both the ivory grip and the silver mounts with minor damages to the silver. The pommel cap is restored.
