Up for sale is this fine Khanjar / Jambiya dagger, Persian, late 18 to early 19 C. very fine Wootz (Damascus, Watered) blade with clear and high contrast pattern. I shaped elephant ivory grip of very clean lines. Wood scabbard covered with black leather and mounted with a chased brass chape. Blade length 9, total 15 inches. Very good condition. Beautiful blade. Age cracks on the grip but it holds solid. The scabbard may be later to the dagger.
